What’s Good On TV Summary

Fallout 4 is a single-player, open-world, narrative driven game set in post nuclear war Boston, Massachusetts and it’s surrounding areas. You, the player, are the only surviving vault dweller of vault 111 and on the search of your kidnapped son after he was taken by strangers while you slept in cryostasis. You search the wasteland for your son, helping the many factions along the way, using them to help you gain information and find your son. This is a direct example of Ethical Egoism.

Covered in this is the explanation of the Brotherhood of Steel subplot storyline, the Institute subplot storyline, my claims to support the theory of Ethical Egoism which include the “Brotherhood of Steel and the quick access to better equipment and technology on your journey. Also, the elimination of the Commonwealth “Boogeyman” known as the Institute,” and “Finding Nick Valentine after he’s gone missing from Diamond City so that he can assist in finding your son.”

Why is Fallout 4 Ethically Egoistic? The reason Fallout 4 is Ethically Egoistic is because the story behind the main character within the story of Fallout 4 is to find their son who had been kidnapped many years before leaving their cryostasis in vault 111. Their own motivation trumps all others within the game, up until finding their son.
